Dave, The package arrived yesterday. My wife was gone playing bridge last night so I had a chance to skim over the discs. What a great job! Every reel was viewable, far better than the original film. I was very pleased with the result. I believe your equipment cleans up the images (brightness, etc.) and it greatly improves the viewing. This year I have another batch of film, about 2500 feet...... Thanks, J. G. Milwaukee Dave, You transferred a 50 year old 8mm movie to AVI and MOV formats of my parents' wedding last year that I worked with in Studio 9 that was just great work! You even captured stills from the movie where it was mostly "black". I used the stills to create an effect like you would see in a documntary. Your service and eye for that level of detail was just fantastic! I recommend your work to anyone who will listen! Gave me that added bit of confidence that what I want to do with the finished files is possible. I'm in the learning stage and as I'm sure you know, there are dozens of sites out there doing what you are doing, but most stop short of making the original AVI files avavilable. I like playing with the files and tinkering with the possibilities of editing and adding sounds and titles, etc... Thanks for your extra effort on the clips.
